Apples have made their first appearance at the farmers market!  After a long (but delicious) summer, Fall is finally here.  These apples are from Fishkill Farms.

Today’s truck side view of Oak Grove Plantation’s truck…

Yesterday I found myself soaking up the warm breezes and enjoying the intoxicating smell of nearly ripe peaches at Oak Grove Plantation in Pittstown, New Jersey.  My nearly five hour visit included a long conversation with Mr. Ted Blew, owner and driving force behind the family farm, and an invigorating, bumpy ride on the back of a pick up truck, touring the 160 acre farm.
